This wordpress blog was great as a quick way to get up an running, but now that we’re doing this regularly, we’ve moved to our permanent home: http://therissingtonpodcast.co.uk
The podcast feed remains the same though, and should’ve automatically updated to see the new episodes on the new server.

After a successful week, reaching #3 in the iTunes Technology podcast chart, and #82 in the overall podcast chart, it’s safe to say the pressure is bloody on! Then there were the plaudits from that Mr Boag on his Podcast! So, here is the ‘difficult second episode’ (like the difficult second album).
In this weeks show:
- Jon gets his own microphone, and the sweetie wrappers have been cleared up!
- More listeners questions are dissected, discussed and digested.
- We go live to Squadron Leader, Jon Dennis, for the RAF joke.
- Featured Font takes a break for a week as we interview Mr Paul Boag and pump him for podcasting tips.
This shows hypertext goodness:
We have plenty of questions that we intend to use in the future, so don’t lose heart if yours hasn’t been answered. We may do some ‘specials’ where just answer one question (some of them are quite big!). Please send in your questions (preferably using the format “Does the panel think?” or “What can the panel suggest?” – that sort of thing, it makes it feel more Gardeners Worldy).

After the lovely warm reception to the Pilot Episode, we present the first ‘proper’ episode! It looks like we’re now committing ourselves to doing this!
As well as the usual round of listeners questions (including The Rissington ‘underground hospital’ and choosing web-safe cheeses), we attempt another joke from the RAF Magazine ‘Air Mail’, and the Featured Font is P22’s ‘Underground Pro‘. Keep the questions coming in!
Apologies for the sound quality in this one – we promise it will be sorted for the next episode, but we couldn’t face recording the questions again!

In the inaugural podcast, listeners questions come courtesy of members of a secret society founded in the 1920s, we attempt our first joke provided by the RAF, and the featured typeface is the elegant Mostra. It’s the first go, so be easy on us!
If we make it past this one we’ll need some questions so be sure to send yours to email@example.com
