Episode #1

After the lovely warm reception to the Pilot Episode, we present the first ‘proper’ episode! It looks like we’re now committing ourselves to doing this!

As well as the usual round of listeners questions (including The Rissington ‘underground hospital’ and choosing web-safe cheeses), we attempt another joke from the RAF Magazine ‘Air Mail’, and the Featured Font is P22’s ‘Underground Pro‘. Keep the questions coming in!

Apologies for the sound quality in this one – we promise it will be sorted for the next episode, but we couldn’t face recording the questions again!

The ‘Pilot’ episode

In the inaugural podcast, listeners questions come courtesy of members of a secret society founded in the 1920s, we attempt our first joke provided by the RAF, and the featured typeface is the elegant Mostra. It’s the first go, so be easy on us!

If we make it past this one we’ll need some questions so be sure to send yours to therissingtonpodcast@googlemail.com

Welcome to the Rissington Podcast!

Messrs Oxton and Hicks, broadcasting from the ex-RAF base in Upper Rissington, UK.

Think of this as a geek version of Gardeners Question Time. We take your questions, be they concerning semantic HTML, CSS, cheese, cookery or whatever is on your minds. We are your expert panellists, agony aunts and general life-gurus. Email us your questions!

We will also have regular spots - jokes from an 1940's RAF magazine, typeface of the 'week', and any geek/technology thing we care to talk about.
